    Our team

    We have more than seventy professional staff members, including sociologists, anthropologists, communicators, lawyers, economists, business experts, psychologists, statistics experts, geographical engineers, forest engineers, accountants and administrators, among others. Furthermore, we work with a group of specialized consultants when necessary, depending on the specific needs of each service.

    SCG is organized into six areas and a Management Committee. The Committee is made up of the CEO and SCG’s managers (7 men and 5 women), who also have specific responsibilities within each area.


    The Project Office is responsible for planning and implementing our services. Methodological innovations and continual, interdisciplinary learning are priorities for our ongoing growth. This area is made up of managers, coordinators, social experts, community relations experts, statistics experts and GIS professionals. The team also includes designers and IT specialists to promote the development of innovative products.


    SCG has a team of accountancy and administrative professionals in charge of managing our finances. This area is responsible for the financial and accountancy reports, taxes, paying the payroll and service providers and billing clients. It is also in charge of monitoring our services’ budgets, together with the project managers. Financial statements are managed to international standards and audited annually.


    This area supports the central offices, the temporary offices and the projects that are implemented in the field. Its functions include purchasing goods, coordinating and supervising suppliers, planning the SCG team’s transport and accommodation in the field and sending documents, materials or equipment to the projects, among others. The team has broad experience in planning the logistics needed for our services safely and in maintaining the high quality that we are known for.


    This area provides the team with communication technology and manages the internal and external information networks. The team provides this service at both main office and field locations


    Since 2010, SCG has had an Occupational Health and Safety Area, which is in charge of designing health and safety policies and strategies. It also helps the Project Office to manage the risks involved in the implementation of our services, in order to safeguard the integrity of our staff and equipment. This area coordinates its activities with the Workplace Health and Safety Committee, made up of SCG representatives, as required by local laws.


    The Human Resources area is in charge of the integral well-being of SCG’s team, in accordance with company policy and local regulatory requirements. Over the last few years, it has promoted initiatives to expand internal capacities and maintain a favorable working climate. This includes working agreements with foreign language institutes, , a Workplace Well-being Program (active breaks) and a Fitness Challenge Program, which includes health advice for staff.
